ABOUT SUE RYALLS
Horsham Pilates Studio was set up by Sue Ryalls in 2016. Her aim was to provide a space dedicated to improving the health, fitness and recovery of her clients. Giving them a sense of wellbeing and hope.
Sue is a fully qualified and experienced Personal Fitness trainer who has worked in the fitness industry for 14 years. She firmly believes that Pilates will benefit anyone. It's never too late to start, even if you haven't done exercise before. With the guidance of an experienced teacher you will soon start feeling fitter and stronger.
Sue has a particular interest in working with people who are recovering from injury or surgery. In particular she has worked very successfully with clients recovering from knee and hip replacement surgery. Her Pilates programmes have also proved very beneficial for clients who suffer from Osteoporosis, and for those with chronic neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease.
Sue finds this aspect of her job especially rewarding.
Sue trained at the Physiotherapy and Pilates Rehabilitation Centre in North Somerset and is affiliated with Alan Herdman Pilates. Alan Herdman is the person credited with bringing Pilates to the UK from America in 1970. As part of her training she worked with clients with physical limitations and neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease.
Sue keeps in regular contact with the Pilates and Rehabilitation Centre attending workshops and training courses to keep her knowledge and skills fully up-to-date.

Sue is also a fully qualified Sports Massage Therapist and a qualified Martial Arts Coach because, in her spare time, Sue indulges her passion for Kung Fu!
